Q: What is the advantage
of a Modular Home?
A:Modular Homes
are constructed better than site built homes. Because they are built inside
factories, they are not exposed to the weather such as wind, rain or snow.
Not until completion, do the houses come in contact with the elements.
Q: Will I see or receive
Blueprints?
A: All Houses come with a full set of Blueprints.
Q: Are homes available
on a basement or crawlspace?
A: Yes. Both options are available to you.
Q: What is meant by
'Drop & Set'?
A: Drop & Set includes the following:
We do the excavating and install a PreFab Basement. The basements are made
of 5,000 PSI concrete so water will not penetrate them. They are insulated
and studded out ready for sheetrock or paneling. The walls come in heights
of 8', 9' or 10'. The next step is to backfill rough grade and set the house
on the foundation. Once this is complete the roof is raised and everything
is weatherproofed. At this point houses are 80-90% completed. By finishing
the house yourself, you save money which is the whole concept of a custom
home.
Q: What is meant by
'Turn Key'?
A: Turn Key includes everything that is needed to complete the building process
for your new custom modular home.
Q: How does quality
rate between Modular Home and Site built?
A: Quality Control is better because the people building the houses are paid
by the hour rather than by job. The workers do not rush to finish the job
resulting in a high-quality home.
Q: How long have you
been building Modular Homes?
A: We have been building Custom Modular Homes since 1987 and have completed
all Building Inspector courses.
